Alan Cobb specializes in .NET programming, utilities and debugging in C# and C++. He is a consultant since 1985 for Microsoft operating systems and languages. His experience consists of many contracts performed for clients including Oracle, Borland, Ashton-Tate and Microsoft and experimental work with speech analysis and recognition technology.

Alan has his M.S. Electronic Engineering, from Calif. State Univ. Sacramento.
and B.S. Business Administration from U. C. Berkeley (Regent's Scholar, Phi Beta Kappa)

Alan joined the SacDotNet team in 2007. He focuses on events, community and inter-group relations.

Alek Davis is a senior software engineer at Intel Corporation in Folsom, CA. As a member of the Application Security team, he develops large-scale enterprise applications which make up the corporate security infrastructure. In addition to application security, Alek is interested in Windows programming, usability, development standards, efficiency, and process improvement. Alek published several technical articles in MSDN Magazine and The Journal of Systems and Software.

Alek has a B.S. degree in Computer Science and an M.S. degree in Software Engineering, both from the California State University, Sacramento.

Alek joined the SacDotNet team in 2004. Alek accounts, monitors and controls SacDotNet finances.

Manoj P Keechilot has over 15 years experience in the software development industry in various roles like software engineer, system analyst, architect and manager. He had also co-founded and managed a Silicon Valley startup, with 12+ employees. Prior to his current position, he had served as the director of technology in Software Labs, a DM product company. Manoj's background covers a wide spectrum, including embedded real-time systems, manufacturing automation and B2B messaging. At the moment he focuses on .Net technology in the area of reverse logistics, supporting high-tech manufacturing companies. Also, he advises the National Teachers Organization, a non-profit organization, as a technical director. In addition, he develops mobile applications using .Net CF, as a hobby.

Manoj holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters degree in Computer Science both from India and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Manoj is a founding director of SacDotNet. His primary responsibilities are marketing & sponsorship, speaker and community relations. He also leads the website development efforts for SacDotNet

Maria Martinez has approximately 10 years of experience placing IT professionals in the Greater Sacramento and the Central Valley areas. She has recently joined ConnectPoint Search Group and has assumed the responsibility of launching their technology placement service. Maria believes that the quality of individuals that she represents through referrals, her follow through, attention to detail and great customer service skills are the keys for building strong relationships with both clients and consultants.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

Maria joined the Board of Directors of the Sacramento .Net User Group in 2004. Her responsibilities include both membership and public relations.

Dan Velasco is a Senior Web Developer for Sutter Connect. Dan has over eight years of web development experience, from raw HTML to Notes/Domino to Java/WebSphere to .NET. He has written nearly 200 tips and articles for DominoPower, WebSpherePower and other online magazines. He has made presentations to both the Sacramento Java Users Group and the Sacramento WebSphere User Group. Always one to tackle a new challenge with zeal, Dan is working on adding an MCAD designation to his Notes/Domino, Java and WebSphere certifications.

Dan attended San Jose State university for his BA and MBA education.

Dan joined SacDotNet as an executive director in July 2006. Dan's primary responsibilities are event coordination, communications and management.

Dan had to leave the SacDotNet team due to circumstances at work and home.

 

Chris Bilson
Chris has been a professional software developer for more than 10 years, with C++ as his primary language and VB as a close second. Most of his career has been spent on Windows development with a couple of years of Unix development. Since he took the blue pill, he has been a devoted .NET believer.

Chris participates less in the SacDotNet team since he is leaving the area. SacDotNet is thankful to his contributions.
