| Description | Job Description This is a senior level position. Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for analyzing and documenting current business processes, recommending process improvements, and developing the business, functional, and technical requirements needed to ensure that the technology solutions delivered meets the needs of the client’s business. The SBA will also work with project managers, technical resources, and other stakeholders to scope and define projects. This employee is managed by a senior-level manager or executive. Program assignments are cross functional, are of significant magnitude and important to the execution of corporate business strategies and achievement of company objectives. The SBA will be working closely with business users and technical staff to support DirectApps client projects future enhancements, modules and functions on the web. This individual will be looked to for strong leadership within their IT team and with their business partners. Leadership skills will be demonstrated by the candidate""s ability to work under strict, aggressive timelines, and by her/his willingness to do what it takes to meet a committed deadline. The analyst will play a role in production support, ad-hoc inquiries, reporting and the management of smaller projects and initiatives. At an individual level, this role calls for an individual who can demonstrate sound analytical, documentation, and communication skills in addition to being technically smart to gain credibility with customers and stakeholders most of whom are technical professionals. He/she is expected to evangelize the DirectApps solutions to other groups and will be the primary conduit for getting requirements from these customers. The role warrants the individual to mentor individuals in his/her team, gain consensus on technical decisions and ensure that appropriate software engineering solutions are deployed. As part of this task, it is a requirement that this individual is technically knowledgeable with Web based and Workflow based systems. It is a plus that this individual has experience designing systems using specific technologies such as ASP.Net & C#, LAMP, or JSP applications. The individual should also be able to credibly coordinate between teams of business stakeholders and technical resources. They should be able to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests recommend alternative technical and business approaches and lead business process / engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines. Skills and/or qualifications: Provide leadership and set a good example for others to follow. Partner effectively and proactively with counterparts to deliver integrated solutions. Lead and influence cross-functional teams. Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Learn quickly and work in a changing environment and under tight deadlines. Interview business counterparts to effectively draw out and articulate the business need/problem/opportunity to be addressed. Provide scaled options for implementation based on the business need and appetite for investment. Gather and analyze requirements and create documentation to enable effective design and development. This documentation includes project charters and plans, gap analysis, timeline dependencies, use-cases, ERD, and business and functional requirements. Solve problems creatively by thinking outside the box and applying on-traditional solutions to challenging issues. Communicate effectively - both verbally and written - to peers and business partners. This includes strong questioning and listening skills, and ability to look beyond obvious answers and understand the impact on other areas. Identify potential business opportunities and take appropriate initiative to gather the right team to pursue 2 to 5 years experience working with web projects and associated technologies.
