Integrating the Future with .NET

The next frontier in connected business and lifestyle solutions is the integration of millions of embedded devices to enterprise applications. Known as embedded-to-enterprise connectivity, this will enable physical assets to transmit detailed usage and performance data over the Internet, utilizing on-board monitoring units and communication devices. It has been reported that there are more than 50 billion machines in the world including cars, sensors, meters and household appliances among many others. The world is at the cusp of witnessing an exciting generation of new applications that will touch all areas of our lives.
This presentation will focus on advances and the role of .NET in light of where the future of embedded-to-enterprise connectivity is headed. The speaker, Ramesh Vasu, will speak from his rich experience in architecting, developing and integrating embedded systems and business applications using .NET.
