Additions to your .Net Toolkit - Using Mono to extend the life
of old hardware |
|
In our economic climate some of you
will notice the disappearing IT budgets. In this presentation
Eric will demonstrate the use of Mono, MonoDevelop and XSP to
extend the processing power of old hardware. A strong focus
will be made on porting code from your windows environment to
linux Mono environment without changes
Note: We will give away free Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop cds (www.ubuntu.com)
and OpenSUSE 11.1 w/Mono (www.opensuse.org/en/) cds. These are
live cds that can be booted without requiring installation.
